About Z CAR M

Hi, thank you so much for visiting my new Z CAR M site  !!!

This is Berny - I am German and living in Ireland since 2003 and used to live 10 years in Berlin before which I really loved.  I have been in many bands before and had a lot great live gigs in the past. Currently I am only doing home recordings and productions of my own original songs. I also produced some video clips on YouTube which can be seen under the account "zcarm".

History of Z CAR M: Z CAR M was a 3 head band established 1980 in Kaiserslautern Germany - together with Karl-Heinz Huth, Frank Racz my brother & myself Berny A. Racz. We had lots of concerts beginning the 80th. But split already 1982 as of different life styles. Afterwards I joined several different groups but all split up as well later on. In 1986 I moved to Munich with my girlfiriend at this time and stayed there until 1991. Back in Kaiserslautern I met Kalle again and composed/recorded some real good tracks.

In 1992 finally I moved to Berlin and stayed there for 10 years. During this time 1995 I got married in the Philippines. Since this time we are travelling to the Philippines almost every year. Overthere in the hometown of my wife I met Robert C. Drilon, a brilliant singer. Together with him I composed 6 great songs with Roberts powerful voice in November 1999. The name "Misty Rain" was born. Unfortunately I could not stay longer in the Philippines. So I continued composing songs by songs in Berlin. My wife and some other femaile singer offered her voice in order to sing onto a few Z CAR M tracks.

As the name "Misty Rain" was mainly associated with porn sites I decided to take over the name Z CAR M again which means my family name backwards from RACZ, so Z CAR and then M for music !
